Driver Profile - Aaron Lang

Aaron Lang16 year old Aaron Lang of Stratford showed interest in racing at a young age. In 2002, Aaron joined the Waterloo Regional Kart Club, racing four-cycle karts in the Junior Restricted (Novice) class. As Aaron moved up classes and gained more experience, he found himself in the front of the pack in both Jr. Sportsman (Jr. Light) and Jr. Teen (Jr. Heavy) classes.  Throughout his years at WRKC, Aaron learned the importance in momentum, draft and setup.

As a firm believer in Canadian four-cycle kart racing, Aaron continued to race in four-cycle classes. During his last year at WRKC, Aaron placed fourth out of the fifteen drivers in the very competitive Junior Teen class. Aaron also gained valuable national level racing experience at the Honda Crystal Cup at Shannonville and the Barrie Grand Prix.

In 2006, Aaron wanted advance to the "next level" and raced the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship in Ontario's most competitive four-cycle karting class, Canada Senior. Unfortunately, his season ended early due to a knee injury.

Aaron is currently in his last year at high school and consistently earns the status of "honour student". School is Aaron's number one priority, as he realizes the importance in taking post-secondary education. Aaron intends on going to university and studying mechanical engineering and looks forward to be a part of the Formula SAE program.

Aaron is excited to be apart of the TLM Racing team, racing in the 2007 CASC F1200 Championship. Aaron is looking forward to a successful first year in Formula Vee and will be challenging for the Rookie of the Year award.
