Taylor Near
Taylor Near is an 18 year-old Toronto Ontario native and graduate of the Bondurant High Performance Racing School He has joined BGR-TLM Racing’s multi-car effort contesting the 2009 F1200 Championship Series.
Heading into the May 8th test day at Mosport, the BGR-TLM owners were not sure what to expect from the inexperienced young racer. From the start of the test day, right through to the final session, which was run in increasingly heavy rain, the BGR-TLM owners were pleasantly surprised at Taylor’s performance.
As the season progesses, Near is starting to find his groove with an unprecedented 6 top ten and 2 top 5 finishes in 6 starts.
